Membership Benefits Terms and Conditions

1. Membership Overview

By becoming a member of the Australian Beauty Association (ABA), you agree to the following terms and conditions. ABA offers various membership tiers, including Student Membership, Industry Membership, and Preferred Supplier Membership. Each membership tier provides unique benefits, as outlined below.

2. Membership Benefits

Depending on the membership tier selected, members will have access to the following benefits:

• Student Membership: Access to educational resources, industry news, networking opportunities, and discounted event and course participation.
• Industry Membership: Full access to educational materials, webinars, networking events, industry updates, and eligibility for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
• Preferred Supplier Membership: Includes an advertising package, promotional opportunities, networking events, industry insights, and other exclusive benefits to help promote your business.

3. Automatic Renewal

Your membership will automatically renew each year unless canceled prior to the renewal date. Membership fees for the following year will be charged to your account on the anniversary of your original membership date. Renewal fees will be based on the membership tier you initially selected unless otherwise changed.

4. Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by providing written notice to the Australian Beauty Association. To avoid renewal charges, cancellations must be made at least 30 days before your membership renewal date. If your membership is canceled after the renewal date, no refund will be issued for the remaining portion of the membership term.

5. Changes to Membership Tiers and Benefits

ABA reserves the right to make changes to membership benefits and fees at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes at least 30 days prior to their next renewal. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your membership under the cancellation terms outlined above.

6. Payment of Membership Fees

All membership fees are payable in advance, either annually or as otherwise stated. Failure to pay membership fees on time may result in suspension or termination of membership benefits until payment is received.

7. Use of Member Benefits

Membership benefits are for the sole use of the named individual or business and are non-transferable unless otherwise specified. ABA reserves the right to revoke benefits if they are misused or if the member violates any of these terms and conditions.

8. Data Privacy

ABA respects your privacy and handles all personal information in compliance with relevant data protection laws. By becoming a member, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of administering your membership and providing the benefits of the membership.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.
